Woofs to Move Fundraising Event @ Bishan Park

Join us at this exciting event!

Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter (OSCAS) and Pawdy Angels are pleased to announce that we are holding our fundraising event “Woofs to Move” on June 18, 2017, Sunday from 10am to 2pm at the Promenade at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. It will be a fun filled event for all animal lovers.

In October 2016, Singapore Land Authority (SLA) announced that all animal shelters are to vacate their Pasir Ris farmway premises by end 2017 in order to make way for industrial development. OSCAS is one of the many animal shelters affected by this decision.

AVA has now allocated space in Sungei Tengah for all the affected animal shelters and the move there at the end of the year is expected to cost a large sum of money. OSCAS has around 120 dogs in residence and moving them is no small feat. Besides the cost for transportation, we expect other costs to arise from setting up the new premises to fit our needs.

Furthermore, OSCAS is dependent entirely on the kindness of animal lovers. We are not supported by the government and need funds from the public in order to continue caring for the dogs. We are also hoping to raise funds for food, medical bills and supplies.

Please help to share the event with your friends and family and join us at the event!
